Rachel Brock, Attorney at Law
Born and raised on a Texas cattle ranch, Rachel Brock learned about the value of diligent work and the power of justice from a young age. This guided her journey into law, leading her to the University of Tulsa College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2006. After graduation, she was admitted to the Tennessee State Bar and began her legal career as an attorney for Legal Services. She has run her own firm for years and was also honored to serve as a Magistrate in the Juvenile Court.
Now, with nearly two decades of valuable experience under her belt, Attorney Brock has become a trusted resource in family law in Durango and the rest of Colorado, practicing law in areas such as divorce, child custody, child support, and more. She’s deeply invested in her Colorado community because she knows how overwhelming these issues can feel to your family—and she knows the tremendous difference an attorney can make in your case.

Additionally, she's a founding member of the Southwest Colorado Collaborative Law Professionals and the founder of the Southwest Chapter of the Colorado Women's Bar Association.
These affiliations allow Attorney Brock to continue practicing the mission of Durango Family Law: providing compassionate and effective legal solutions that prioritize the well-being of families, while also ensuring a fair and just outcome for all parties involved.
In order to provide this high level of service, Rachel stays on top of the ever-changing legal landscape by continuously attending conferences, workshops, and seminars focused on growing her knowledge.
The Importance of Accessible Service

More importantly, she deeply understands the complexities and emotional toll that legal issues can have on families. Her compassionate approach, combined with her ability to strongly advocate for the rights of her clients, has made her a trusted name in the Colorado legal community. She strives to work with all individuals to ensure they are getting the legal representation they need, no matter where they live in Southwest Colorado or anywhere else in the state.
Memorable Wins
Individuals come to Durango Family Law needing help. However, the cards seem to be stacked against them at every turn. Some of the most meaningful cases in Attorney Brock’s career have involved fighting on the side of clients who needed justice but who started far behind the typical litigant. There’s nothing better than getting results for clients who deserve a win.
Ultimately, the goal is to level the playing field and ensure that individuals and families throughout Colorado get what they need in order to move forward with confidence.
